Xiaomi announced HyperOS 2 global update roadmap

The Android 15 release is out and major smartphone brands have almost completed their preparations for this big event. Xiaomi is a big name in the market, so it is not surprising that attention is focusing on the new version of the custom interface, which is developed based on Android 15 and is expected to be available on all models. The company's smartphone in the near future — HyperOS 2.0.

HyperOS 2.0 is expected to bring many upgrades, user interface changes and a series of notable new features.

If you own a Xiaomi phone, get ready, as your phone may be eligible to receive the Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update when Xiaomi officially announces its global roadmap. In an official post on social networking platform X, Xiaomi co-founder and CEO Lei Jun shared the list of devices receiving the HyperOS 2.0 update.

Eligible devices will begin receiving the HyperOS 2.0 update starting in November or December. Here's the full list:

Updates for the first batch of devices are expected to begin in November 2024:

  • Xiaomi 14/14 Ultra
  • Xiaomi 13T Pro

Tablet

Wearable devices

The update for the second series of devices is expected to begin in December 2024
