Gemini is currently Google's largest and most potential large-scale AI model, combining the strengths of Google Bard and Duet AI. Gemini AI Chatbot supports the ability to input text, images, audio and video and provide responses based on natural language like a human. The interesting thing is that without an Android phone, you can now use the Gemini AI chatbot on your iPhone.
Earlier this year, Google released the Gemini app for Android devices, allowing users to change their default assistant from Google Assistant to Gemini. Some time later there were rumors that Apple and Google were actively negotiating to bring Google's Gemini artificial intelligence tool to the iPhone. This could be one of the blockbuster deals that could shake up the AI industry. Apple and Google have been continuously increasing their efforts in the field of AI and if they truly join hands, we could see some miracles.
Today, this rumor came true. Google has finally officially released the Gemini app exclusively for iOS devices. The official Gemini app for iOS will be compatible with all iPhones running iOS 16.0 or later and supports the following languages:
English, Arabic, Bengali, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Marathi, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.
The Gemini iOS app provides access to both free features and Gemini Advanced features. Signing up for a Gemini Advanced subscription unlocks Google's newest and most powerful model: Gemini Live, along with features like Gemini for Gmail and Docs. Gemini Live promises to provide a more seamless voice experience to brainstorm ideas, explore new topics, etc. Gemini iOS users can try Gemini Advanced with a one-month free trial included in the app.
Google Workspace account users who do not have access to Gemini Advanced can still access the Gemini mobile app on iOS if their Workspace admin has enabled access to both Gemini Apps and Google Assistant.
You can download the official Google Gemini app from the Apple App Store, and are authorized to use it if your Google account is 13 years old or older.
The release of the iOS-specific Gemini app marks an important step forward in Google's efforts to make its AI technology more accessible to more than one billion iOS users. With its user-friendly interface and powerful features, the Gemini app could become a popular AI tool among the large iOS user community worldwide.
